How bookings work

Forest Dog Tours is a small, home-based service with limited places to ensure calm, individual care. Our prices reflect the time, responsibility, and personal attention each dog receives, including tailored walks and a safe home environment. We keep everything transparent so you always know what’s included.

To keep things calm, safe, and personal, all new dogs begin with a short introductory assessment. This helps us understand your dog’s temperament, routines, and any support they may need, and ensures we’re a good fit before confirming a boarding stay.

Once you’re ready to book, we’ll confirm dates, collection and drop-off arrangements, and any specific care notes. Places are limited due to our small-capacity, home-based approach, so we recommend booking in advance wherever possible.

Prices, travel, and key dates (effective 1 March 2026)

Our full pricing is listed below, including walking, boarding, sitting, and optional extended care.

Travel is charged at £0.80 per mile (round trip) from our base to your collection and/or drop-off address, to cover EV running costs.

To cover availability and scheduling on key dates, a £25 surcharge applies per booking on Christmas Day (25 December) and New Year’s Day (1 January) for any walks, in-home sitting, or boarding handovers taking place on those dates.

For longer boarding stays, we offer a long-stay discount: book 7 consecutive nights and receive 1 night free (pay for 6).
